Question Onza M60

Hi there,
I am new to archery and am looking at my first bow. It is on ebay, item http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1 .

I can't find any info about it. Does anyone know anything about this model please. Would it be a good buy?
Cheers

The M-60 Onza was certainly top-of-the-line when it was offered in the early '90's. It featured a unique built-in overdraw system and was the first bridged riser ever designed. Todays' Rytera Triad is patterend after this bows original design. To the point, the Onza was designed as a speed bow. As a first bow, it is questionable wether the Onza is ideal. Typically, "speed bows" can be unforgiving and, while they are fine for accomplished archers, can offer challenges in consistency for the beginner. I strongly recommend that, as a first time archer, you obtain the advice of your local archery dealer. You may pay a little more for your inital purchase but the knowledge you will gain will save you much time, money and frustration down the road.

I hope this helps.
